最近は富士山がくっきり見える日が多い。

観光客の人も写真を喜んで撮っている。

新富士駅でその姿を見た母は「みんな綺麗って言うよね、ずっと見てるから私はなんだかわからない」と言った。素直な思いだと思った。

当たり前の景色になるとそれが特別だと思うのは難しいのかもしれない。

Recently, there are many days when Mount Fuji is clearly visible. Tourists are happy to take photos. When my mother saw it at Shin-Fuji Station, she said, “Everyone says it’s beautiful, but I’ve been looking at it for so long I don’t really know what it means.” I thought that was a sincere way of thinking. It may be hard to think of a view as special when it becomes a commonplace one.
